Innosight Institute came into existence to educate people about consumer electronics, softwares, gadgets, appliances, and help them make the right choice.
It was founded in 2003 by 3 technology enthusiasts who used to work at the Laptop stores and help consumers choose the perfect laptop. Most of the stores were brand centric, that’s why despite other brands having better models, they couldn’t be recommended to a consumer.
Why is the name Innosight Institute?
The reason for a name like this is because the people who worked in the stores had internal insights about a lot of laptop brands. That explains the first part, “Inno + insight” (Inno refers to internal and sights from insights.)
And why did we include “Institute?” Well, our goal was to not just recommend the right laptop or gadgets, but also to educate our readers and make sure that they learn the habit of research oriented decision making. So that’s why we added the term “Institute.”
The purpose of Innosight Institute is what you could understand by its name, it’s basically using internal insights to educate our readers to help them make research and insight based purchase decisions.
Our aim is to help people make the right choice, whether it’s getting consumer electronics such as Laptops, smartwatches or it is getting gadgets or small-large appliances for home improvement.
We write in-depth guides, listicles and how-to’s to help people make the right choice. Currently, our area of focus is consumer electronics gadgets such as Laptops, Computers and we’re planning to diversify into other product ranges as well.
As of now there are more than 45 people based out of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and other countries who work and contribute to Innosight Institute.
